Gas meter installer — Pend Oreille County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Pend Oreille County, Washington. The job is in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Your main tasks: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
