Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Van Buren County, Arkansas. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
