Argon arc welder — Saint Croix County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts.
