Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Cloud County, Kansas. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
