Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Clay County, Kansas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
