Lathe programmer-operator — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Jefferson County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear 4+ years on the tools preferred.
