Plasterer wanted in Lucas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plasterer in Lucas County, Ohio. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work On a typical shift you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
