Tig welder — Rhea County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Rhea County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
