MIG welder — Saint Francois County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Saint Francois County, Missouri. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
