Tiling assistant — McCreary County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiling assistant in McCreary County, Kentucky. The job is on a residential construction site. The role involves: • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Six days a week, one day off.
