CNC machine operator — Clearwater County

Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves: • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter Rotating shifts.
