Horizontal milling machine operator — Sebastian County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Sebastian County, Arkansas. The job is in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Full-time with occasional weekends.
