Power float operator • Morrow County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Morrow County, Ohio. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
