Fabrication workshop technician — Jasper County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Jasper County, Illinois. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
