Insulation worker • Estill County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring an insulation worker in Estill County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
