Wheel loader operator wanted in Harnett County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Harnett County, North Carolina. The job is at a road-building project. The role involves: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Full-time with occasional weekends.
