Power float operator — Orange County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Orange County, California. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day to day you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience.
