Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Daviess County, Indiana. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
