Kitchen porter — DeKalb County

Requirements: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates On a typical shift you will keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass.
