We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Clark County, Washington. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
