Fettler — Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Jackson County, Mississippi. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
