Foundry labourer — Hamlin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Hamlin County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 5+ years on the tools preferred.
