Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Brazos County, Texas. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
