Bulldozer operator — Logan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Logan County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
