Dogger — Grady County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Grady County, Georgia. You will be based at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
