Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in McPherson County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
