Steel erection rigger — Fayette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Fayette County, Indiana. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals We offer $190 per day plus benefits.
