Structural MIG welder — Suffolk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Suffolk County, New York. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
