Die-casting operator — Dillingham Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
