Sand plant operator — Nez Perce County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Nez Perce County, Idaho. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity 2+ years on the tools preferred.
