Final inspection operator — Kennebec County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Kennebec County, Maine. You will be based in an automotive parts factory. You should have: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Day-to-day duties: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items 4+ years on the tools preferred.
