Now hiring: argon welding operator (Edo)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Etsako West, Edo. You will be based on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Part-time with flexible hours.
