In-process quality controller wanted in Blanco County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Blanco County, Texas. You will be based in an automotive parts factory. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Day to day you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
