Hand presser — Brazoria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Brazoria County, Texas. You will be based at a garment factory. On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
