Bricklayer — Scott County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Scott County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
