Bar bender and fixer — Boundary County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Boundary County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
