Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Lee County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
