Sample machinist — Dent County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Dent County, Missouri. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
