Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
