Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in Orhionmwon, Edo. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day-to-day duties: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Pay around ₦120,000 per month, based on your experience.
