Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolder in Henderson County, Illinois. You will be based on a residential housing development. Day to day you will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
