Power float operator — Jefferson Davis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds We offer $17 per hour plus benefits.
