Port container crane operator — Stark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Stark County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
