Turning centre operator • Wilcox County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Wilcox County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
