We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Merced County, California. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time, day shift.
