Plastering hand — Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Polk County, Texas. Day to day you will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; check walls for plumb and level as you go; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 3+ years on the tools preferred.
