The role involves: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections You should have: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
