Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Hertford County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time, day shift.
