Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Buffalo County, Nebraska. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day to day you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances.
