Single needle operator • Terrell County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Terrell County, Georgia. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
